Varicose and Spider Veins

Varicose and Spider Veins

Using Nd-Yag 1064nm Laser

Instant leg and facial vein removal

No Surgery, No Scars, No Down time

Laser Nd-Yag 1064 nm is one of the best technologies available to safely and quickly treat leg veins, spider veins and broken capillaries up to 4mm in diameter.   Laser vein treatment is a proven, non-invasive method of diminishing or eliminating not only veins but also cherry haemangioma, rosacea and other types of telangiectasias. Lasers produce a beam of highly concentrated light that is absorbed by haemoglobin in the dilated blood vessel. It causes the blood to coagulate and the unwanted vessel to instantly or gradually disappear. In the last several years, laser has become a treatment of choice for treating unsightly broken and dilated vessels on the face and legs. Spider veins on the face and legs bother millions of people. Spider veins are red, blush or purple veins that can result from sun exposures, use of oral contraception, hormone therapy, the ageing process or heredity.

Laser for veins can treat the following:

  • Facial Vein Treatments
  • Leg Vein Treatments
  • Spider Vein Removal
  • Haemangioma (Face, Legs & Body)
  • Rosacea

There is no down time after your treatment and there is no need for you to wear compression stockings. In order to have the optimal result and longevity of laser therapy, two or three treatments, two months apart, are recommended. Most patients see excellent improvements after just 1 treatment for facial veins. Cherry haemangioma (red dots on the body) usually only require one, or rarely two, treatments.

Facial veins/ leg veins 15 minute session $400

1064nm/Nd YAG Laser for Hair Removal

Apart from vein removal Nd YAG 1064nm laser is used for hair removal, in particular on darker skin types. The 1064nm wavelength has only a small attraction to melanin, but a high affinity for haemoglobin. This makes it an ideal laser for the treatment of veins/hair on all skin types from fair to dark.

How does laser hair removal work?

The laser travels through the skin to the hair follicle, attracted to the hair follicle by the pigment in the hair. This damages and weakens the hair follicle.
